Coherent is a cutting-edge technology firm focused on making blockchain data accessible to developers through data warehouses. Our goal is to empower the developer community and drive innovation in the rapidly evolving world of Web3.

We're looking for a Lead Developer Advocate to own community engagement and work closely with our talented team of software engineers. This full-time position is based in New York City, with a competitive salary range based on experience and local market standards. If you're passionate about Web3, have experience in building developer communities, and are ready to make a real impact in the blockchain space, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow and engage our developer community around Web3, DAOs, and NFTs
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to understand our technology stack, products, and services, effectively communicating their value to developers
  • Organize and participate in events, webinars, and meetups to showcase Coherent's technology and build relationships with developers
  • Create developer-focused content (tutorials, guides, blog posts, etc.) that showcases the capabilities of our platform and helps developers get started quickly
  • Provide feedback and insights from the community to our product and engineering teams, helping to shape the direction of our platform
  • Identify and build partnerships with key influencers, organizations, and developers in the Web3 ecosystem

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building and managing developer communities, preferably in the Web3 space
  • Strong knowledge of Web3, DAOs, and NFTs, and their underlying technologies and protocols
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience creating developer-focused content such as tutorials, guides, and blog posts
  • Strong networking skills and a passion for engaging with developers and the broader Web3 community
  • Willingness to be a public-facing advocate for Coherent and our mission

    • Nice to have:

  • Experience working with or contributing to open source projects
  • Technical background or experience as a software engineer
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
