Localize is seeking a hands-on Marketing Director with experience driving demand generation for technical audiences developers, engineers, and IT decision-makers. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll spend most of your time executing marketing strategies and campaigns, with some responsibility for mentoring a small remote team of 2 and helping build the marketing function as we scale.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and brings experience in B2B SaaS (ACVs $30K–$100K). You’ll be a key player in building scalable, data-driven marketing programs that fuel pipeline growth and revenue.

What You’ll Do

Demand Generation

  • Own the development and execution of inbound and outbound marketing programs to drive qualified leads and accelerate pipeline.
  • Expand reach and optimize conversion through SEO, SEM, paid media, and content marketing.
  • Partner with Sales and leadership to design targeted outbound strategies, including ABM, email campaigns, webinars, and events.
  • Plan, launch, and track multi-channel campaigns, refining tactics based on performance data.
  • Align messaging and content with audience segments, buyer profiles, and funnel stages.

Execution & Analytics

  • Manage campaigns end-to-end with clear timelines, deliverables, and accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success to develop and execute retention strategies, and partner with Product to support the successful launch of new features.
  • Implement lightweight project management practices to ensure initiatives are executed on time and with measurable impact.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to align marketing programs with company-wide objectives.
  • Monitor KPIs such as CAC, LTV, and conversion rates to guide spend and prioritize efforts.
    Provide performance reporting and insights to leadership, making data-driven recommendations.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitors, and new tools to keep Localize competitive.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor and coach 2 marketers, supporting their growth and ensuring collaboration across the team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to shaping the marketing function as Localize scales.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with proven success in inbound and outbound demand generation.
  • 1–2 years of coaching, mentoring, or team management experience.
  • Experience in product marketing is a plus
  • Strong background marketing B2B SaaS in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with HubSpot (or similar), SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing, ABM, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally in a startup.

About Localize:

The Localize platform is used by 700+ companies to automate the translation of their web and mobile applications and bring their products & services to new markets at record speed. We support organizations like The Bay Area Toll Authority in translating their payments website, Baptist Health in making their healthcare site multilingual, and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in offering their content in several languages. Localize works by providing a code snippet (similar to the Google Analytics JavaScript snippet) that our customers add to their website/web app. The Localize snippet pulls in content from the page into the Localize dashboard where our customers log in to add translations and manage their content. Localize automatically deploys those translations to the customer's production site, reducing development costs and accelerating time to market.
