Location: Remote (Pakistan)
Working Hours: 8 PM - 12 AM Pakistan time
Type: Contractual Part-time
About the role:
As a Lead SQA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of our software product. You will lead the SQA efforts, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and work remotely during U.S. hours. Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field- Have 7+ years of experience.- Understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.- Basic knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies.- Expertise with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a remote team environment.- Self-managed and can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the SQA efforts, providing guidance and mentorship to the SQA team members
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency
- Conduct PR testing and ensure quality coverage
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with performance testing specialists to evaluate the system's scalability, stability, and speed
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance SQA processes, tools, and methodologies to improve the quality and efficiency of testing efforts
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to align quality goals with business objectives
- Manage the team in US hours, assign tasks and take feedback
- Remote Work: Work remotely during U.S. hours, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with team members across different time zones.
- CI/CD integration and best practices
- Drone.io experience will be a plusTake the lead in investigating and troubleshooting production incidents
Qualifications
