This role will manage the data processing and reporting functions associated with participant and performance data. An Augeo Data Developer will be responsible for utilizing Augeo's data assets to provide analysis and reporting to end users and internal customers as well as manage the flow of data within the environment. You will be developing, testing and implementing ETL packages within Microsoft SQL Server SSIS along with creating ad-hoc queries and reports using SSMS. Additionally, you will be expected to support data architecture and management efforts as required. You will be required to work on fairly complex assignments and collaborate with Augeo's IT applications team. The ideal candidate understands business needs and translates them into technical solutions, as well as manages internal and external client relationships as needed.

High-level Job Requirements

  • Set up participant and point load processes for new or migrating programs
  • Document data processing and data validation procedures for all assigned programs keep documentation updated
  • Load and perform data validation procedures/checklist for participant and performance data on assigned programs and data migrations
  • Trouble-shoot and correct data load exceptions or inaccuracies
  • Develop automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information
  • Produce accurate and timely reports ‘both online and offline as appropriate to client needs
  • Compiling detailed reports using data reporting tools such as Stored Procedures executed from within the platform websites
  • Assist account team with data queries and support Program Success Metrics process and account reviews on assigned programs
  • Analyze performance of database queries and take action to correct deficiencies
  • Monitor scheduled tasks and queries post-implementation
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.

Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills
  • Fundamental analytical, conceptional thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to participate in meetings communicating findings and plans to cross-functional team members, management, and clients
  • Forward thinking on ways to improve product related challenges with an eye toward delivering value to the end user
  • Organized, with the ability to work independently toward project driven deadlines, in person or remote
  • Experience prioritizing initiatives based on internal and client business needs

Desired Technical Skills

  • Understanding of process controls and security standards such as SOC2
  • Familiarity with C# for scripting tasks
  • Experience with code repositories including Azure Dev Ops / Git
  • Familiarity with Mongo and the ability to write queries against data stored in Mongo
  • Exposure to Tableau BI or Power BI reporting tools
  • Knowledge of data warehousing practices, data marts, and operational data stores

Education and Experience

  • Two-year or four-year college degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SQL Server proficiency required
  • Experience with complex Stored Procedures required
  • Experience importing data files in a variety of formats
  • Proficient with relational database technologies and theories
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar technologies
  • Understanding of and discipline to follow rigorous IT data and systems policies
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and achieve objectives and deadlines
