Summary

We are seeking an experienced Live Event Producer to join our dynamic team. As the Live Event Producer, you'll be at the helm of creating unforgettable live experiences, leading with innovation, creativity, and precision. We’re looking for a visionary leader with a passion for storytelling, a mastery of production elements (stage design, run of show development & script integration), and the ability to bring bold ideas to life while delivering seamless, high-impact events.

The Live Event Producer focuses on elements such as stage design, run of show development, script integration, speaker preparation and visual asset management. Additionally, they should possess significant experience in A/V collaboration and technical production knowledge as they will direct development for mid-size (500-2,000 pax) general sessions and breakouts.

You’ll spend time on the following

  • Lead the production and execution of diverse events, including in-person, virtual and hybrid experiences (in collaboration with the Account Manager)
  • Participate in client calls leading production elements with expert guidance and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle
  • Develop comprehensive project plans for production components, manage timelines and oversee all logistical details of the production elements
  • Develop and manage production assets inclusive of run of show, script, presentation deck (in collaboration with client and design team), etc.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to achieve seamless event delivery – client services, creative, digital, etc.
  • Oversee technical aspects such as AV production, stage management and multimedia integration
  • Partner with account manager on speaker management inclusive of scheduling and running rehearsals and managing and coaching speakers
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth operation and troubleshooting during events
  • Call the show when required
  • Manage external production vendors and contractors
  • Manage production budgets, track expenses and ensure financial transparency to account teams
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimize resources and minimize costs
  • Supervise onsite production logistics, including setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Coordinate with onsite teams, vendors and subcontractors to maintain quality standards and resolve issues promptly
  • Manage and mentor production assistants when required
  • Contribute strategic and creative ideas to enhance event experiences and align them with client objectives
  • Provide recommendations for improving event format, content delivery, and attendee engagement
  • Travel approximately 30% of the year – long days/light lifting. Could include physical travel or in-office ‘onsite’ execution, long hours with multiple moving parts.
  • Attend and take active role in staff and team meetings.
  • Energetically represent Augeo’s brand in the community, in the industry, amongst prospective and current clients and internally.

What you need to be successful

  • 4+ plus years’ experience in corporate event production, managing mid-large scale events
  • Strong knowledge and experience managing technical production
  • Competent in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Experience creating and managing a run of show
  • Experience writing transitional scripting, voiceover scripting, or script development
  • Basic video editing skills preferred
