Summary:

This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the health and effectiveness of Augeo’s SaaS workplace engagement platform. An Augeo System Analyst is responsible for using, maintaining, and improving our platform by analyzing and implementing business and technical requirements. You will be partnering with our quality analysts to enforce the overall health of the system and our business analysts to find improvement and change opportunities and design solutions. You will become a subject matter expert capable of supporting and training our business partners, documenting best practices and helpful instructions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be the platform export on sales and client calls and one of the ultimate voices saying “this is how it should be”. The ideal candidate is curious and can learn and understand business needs to ensure that our technology meets what is truly required and can always maintain a customer orientation.

High-level Job Requirements

  • Act as subject matter expert for Augeo’s workplace engagement platform.
  • Analyze business requirements and identify how to meet them with current functionality – and participate in designing new functionality.
  • Document best practices, instructions, and create training materials
  • Participate in the change management process by consulting in the creation of test plans and regression tests
  • Communicate continuously with business stakeholders, developers, and QA
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts at Augeo

Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills
  • Fundamental analytical, conceptional thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to participate in meetings communicating findings and plans to cross-functional team members, management, and clients
  • Forward thinking on ways to improve product related challenges with an eye toward delivering value to the end user
  • Organized, with the ability to work independently toward project driven deadlines, in person or remote
  • Experience prioritizing initiatives based on internal and client business needs

Desired Technical Skills

  • Analytical thinking to parse incoming requests and provide direction and information back
  • Diverse technical skills and the capacity to learn skills such as SQL and platform such as Jira
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and a variety of roles within projects
  • Strong verbal and written skills

Education and Experience

  • Two-year or four-year college degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
  • Experience with iterative test planning and execution
  • Experience with large scale performance testing and tools
  • Experience working in an Agile-based environment
  • Experience in a SOC 2 Type II certified environment
  • Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
  • Understanding of and discipline to follow rigorous IT data and systems policies
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and achieve objectives and deadlines
