Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Cvent Project Manager to lead the development and execution of digital components for various types of events. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end build of event registration websites, email communications, and mobile applications, ensuring each digital element aligns with client goals and timelines. The Cvent Project Manager will serve as the central point of coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders, driving project delivery through expert timeline & project management, clear communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Success in this role means delivering high-quality digital experiences on time, within scope and budget, while fostering client satisfaction and long-term retention.

You’ll spend your days on the following:

Overall Account Management

  • Serve as overall Account Lead, managing day to day relationship with clients and managing internal team and project coordination
  • Lead as project oversight ensuring project scope and objectives for event websites, registration pages, and mobile apps engage all relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Participate in scope discovery discussions to assess complexity and advise clients and internal teams on SLA and timelines. (Digital products could include Website, Registration, Mobile App, Onsite Tech Solutions.)
  • Manage projects to enhance efficiencies in web design and client service offerings
  • Report and escalate significant issues to management, suggesting corrective actions

Technology Skills

  • Cvent certified and highly proficient in platform functionality
  • Support the end-to-end website building lifecycle, providing exceptional customer service and technology experience to meeting owners, clients, and attendees.
  • Conduct QC/QA of digital products such as websites and mobile apps to ensure they meet quality standards and project scope

Project Management

  • Create and manage detailed project plans, track progress, and maintain comprehensive documentation, with a focus on precise timeline management to meet critical deadlines.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on digital projects, escalating potential client issues as needed.
  • Continuously refine and implement best practices across projects for consistency and optimization.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques, with a focus on maintaining project timelines.
  • Manage daily client communication, including Outlook inbox management, ensuring timely responses to emails and inquiries.

Team and Client Management

  • Primary client-facing liaison between assigned teams, third-party partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Manage client relationships and stakeholder interactions with strong client-facing presence, & customer-first mindset
  • Facilitate planning calls to review milestones, planning timeline, project plans, decisions, and escalate issues.
  • Conduct and participate in meetings as the project plan expert, providing authoritative guidance on timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with clients, Augeo team, and resources to execute project plans and meet client expectations.
  • Facilitate project debriefings to document and share insights for continuous improvement.

What you need to be successful in this role:

Education & Experience

  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • 3–4+ years managing web and mobile app development cycle
  • 3–4+ years meetings and events experience
  • 3+ years project management experience, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex project timelines and deliverables
  • CVENT and/or other event technology platform knowledge required
  • Strong understanding, experience, and knowledge of Virtual and Hybrid projects with platform capabilities and project planning

Knowledge, Skills, and attributes

  • Client Management: Exceptional client-facing skills with experience leading interactions, building trust, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Event Technology Expertise: Background in the Meetings & Events industry with hands-on experience managing event technology platforms (Cvent, websites, and mobile apps).
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage timelines, milestones, and budgets, leveraging PMP methodologies.
  • Communication & Service: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a strong commitment to customer service and consultative support.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with web programming tools, CMS platforms, and mobile app development.
  • Organization & Collaboration: Ability to prioritize workload, maintain project schedules, and work effectively within a team.
  • Quality & Detail: Strong attention to detail and QA/QC of digital products to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Proactive Approach: Enthusiastic, flexible, and solutions-oriented attitude in meeting client objectives.
