Summary
Are you a strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds trust quickly, and delivers exceptional client experiences? Augeo is seeking an Account Director to lead high-impact client relationships and drive innovative event solutions that bring brands to life.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, has a strong background in experience design, and is passionate about leading teams to deliver excellence. You'll be the face of the agency for key corporate clients, owning relationships, guiding strategy, and ensuring strong delivery across every touchpoint. You'll also collaborate with internal partners, including Strategy Directors, to support account growth and deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving client needs.
What You’ll Do
Client Leadership & Growth
- Serve as the primary strategic partner for assigned client accounts, from mid-level stakeholders to the C-suite.
- Build long-term relationships rooted in trust, responsiveness, and results.
- Translate client goals into compelling event strategies and experiences.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and recommendations that inspire client confidence.
- Identify opportunities for organic growth and, when appropriate, collaborate with Strategy Directors on account development efforts, strategic proposals, and client expansion opportunities.
Event Strategy & Oversight
- Oversee the planning and execution of corporate events of all sizes.
- Ensure alignment between client brand objectives and event execution.
- Review and approve event concepts, budgets, timelines, and logistics.
- Lead post-event evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide calm, confident leadership during high-pressure moments.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 event professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development.
- Manage team capacity and ensure high performance across projects.
What You Bring
- 8+ years in client services or account management, with 6+ years in event planning.
- Proven success leading complex client relationships and event portfolios.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with executive presence.
- Deep understanding of event logistics, production, and brand strategy.
- Experience managing teams and budgets in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and event execution.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak event periods.

Location
Candidates must be based in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin. Candidates local to an Augeo office are expected to work a hybrid schedule. Candidates outside commuting distance of an Augeo office may work remotely.
